Want to sponsor a desex, vaccines for a dog, or a dental?
We have some sponsorship options for the things that each rescue dog needs: you could help the dogs directly by sponsoring a vet consult, a dental, a desex, microchip, Council registration, groomer or training appointment, regular ongoing meds and more. Financial donations are the most useful as they allow us to fund the care needed to prepare a dog for adoption. To view the options and help - see our STORE.
USED ITEMS:
Thank you for thinking of us! At present we aren't accepting any donations of used dog clothing, bedding, blankets, towels, leads, leashes or harnesses - as we have a large supply of these items held in our storage unit to be sorted, already. Please contact your local rescue organization in this regard.

Where do I purchase items? We utilise Kmart for bedding, pee-pads, some toys (the S and M beds and their throws make wonderful dog blankets!) We purchase S and M metal crates from GoodsDirect2U as they are sturdy and therefore escape-proof and safer. Flea and worming from great pet stores or online.
FOOD DONATIONS:
Sorry we are unable to accept donations of opened goods for health and safety purposes. Please note, for their health and safety we place dogs on a consistent diet after considering any medical or skin conditions and feed:

As we are a New Zealand Registered Charity, you can claim back 33.33% of your donation from the IRD by submitting a donation receipt from our rescue. To organize your receipt, please email us with the details we need - your full name, account name (if different) the date of the donation and the amount. See the Inland Revenue Department website for information on the submission process.
Note: if you donate via GiveALittle they will prepare the receipt for you. If you donate to our bank account or via Paypal, please email us the details as above.
CAN I GET A YEARLY SUMMARY RECEIPT FOR MY DONATION?
If you have started an automatic payment and would like an end of year summary of donations - please email us just prior to 31 March each year with your details and we will prepare this for you to file!
Please note: receipts are prepared manually, individually by our trustees upon your request, not issued automatically at the end of financial year. So please do contact us at the end of the year with your details and we are happy to prepare your receipt!
